There are so many coaches out there. How do I choose the right one?

It is good to take into account accredited training and certificates, the number of hours learned, and commitment to the code of ethics. But the most important thing is how we interact together on a personal level with our natures and values. We will spend a lot of time together and it must be enriching and recharging for both parties. Look for a coach with whom you can first talk without obligation so that you can make a good decision.

How do I choose between mentoring, psychotherapy and coaching?

Find mentoring if you need instant professional advice or guidance directly from a professional in your field.

Psychotherapy will be the best solution for you if you are not mentally well, want to change, or need to unravel the past causes of your current state.

Choose coaching if you want to proactively focus on your visions and plans for the future, get to know each other better, and develop your thinking, skills, and habits on the path to lasting positive change.

All three disciplines have their own specifics, but at some point they may overlap. It is my responsibility to keep my roles clear and to help you choose the right form of self-development.

How does a coaching session work?

The session usually lasts an hour to an hour and a half, online or in person in Prague.

I control the whole process – I regulate the complexity, I ask the right questions at the right times, I offer various procedures and models for deeper thinking, and always find the ideal solution for you. We continuously discuss your progress, remove non-functional patterns, and replace them with useful ones. Coaching is about setting lasting positive changes.

You have a workbook and exercises that lead you to deep self-knowledge, clear notes, and preservation of the most important ideas and outputs. You take away specific scheduled tasks as well as additional tools from the session.

Intensive work awaits you both on site and between sessions. If you get lost somewhere along the way, I’m always on hand.

What makes neuroscience or brain-based coaching better than others?

It is a coaching approach which is based upon knowledge about the functioning of the brain and ideal conditions for creating new neuroconnections. Within the training, emphasis is placed on anchoring individual procedures and methods from the perspective of neuroscience. I can always explain to you why we are doing each step and exercise. The brain-based approach is focused on deep self-knowledge and intensive systematic work on patterns of behavior with the aim of lasting positive change in the future.

Will we only deal with careers or can we also discuss private issues?

We can discuss any area of ​​your work and private life together. I most often deal with the issues of self-confidence, career advancement, organization of time and priorities, work-life balance, stress management, finding a functional routine, building partnerships, physical and mental condition, and building your own business.

How can someone who doesn'tunderstandwhat I'm doingadvise me?

As a coach, I won’t tell you what to do. I will help you decipher exactly what you want and find your ideal way to get there. My detachment from a given topic is an advantage – I will help you perceive only what is important and offer a view from above. Using analogies and metaphors from different fields is an effective technique that will open your eyes surprisingly easily. If you also want my personal know-how, I offer experience in leading people, projects, marketing and sales, building corporate and personal brands, HR and internal communication, or, for example, lecturing soft skills.

Can you coach me even if we know each other?

Yes, it is possible and I have done it several times during my practice. It is always about mutual agreement, clarification of roles, and strict separation of coaching from ordinary friendly or work conversation. Coaching meetings are confidential – with maximum respect for you and the code of ethics.

How much does it cost?

We agree on the price and conditions of cooperation at a trial session based on your specific requirements and expectations. The specific form of cooperation is influenced by the scope, regularity, and continuity of the meeting and other factors. Our common goal is lasting positive change. We work on tasks during and between sessions, and you have coaching materials, tools, and ongoing consultations at your disposal. In the case of coaching employees in a company, the calculation also includes an initial, ongoing, and final “checkpoint” session with all parties involved, so that the process is optimized and properly evaluated.

Why should I go to coaching with you?

I really enjoy what I do, and my energy is contagious. I perceive coaching as a liberating flow of thoughts, lighting a flashlight into dark corners and slicing giant portions into small bites. I can really listen to you, understand you, and empathetically correct your thoughts. I am strict and consistent, but also immediate and human.
